One of my favourite artists Lupe Fiasco is preparing his 3rd lp currently entitled “Lasers”. Which according to the bible that is wikipedia should be dropping before the end of this year. With the release of this viral, it seems that the Lupe camp my be pushing up the release with the video setting the tone and themes of the album which seems pretty conscious the backing track also seems banging.

“Dope For President” is the latest installment from Curtain’s “Adventures Of Dope Boy C” mixtape series and takes a more conscious stance with themes focusing on the hood, crime, politics and lost paths. Its pretty sample driven and overall a good listen. However whether these mixtapes of late from Curtains result in commercial success(a la Drake) is still debatable but then again so is drakes hype (For some) stand out tracks from “Dope For President” include “Watch for the sirens” and “Tomorrow” featuring Tyrese (Video featured below)
